Post subject: Screen Saver won't start
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsxp>newusers (more info?)

Got a new HP laptop w/Windows XP Media Edition. 1st day screen saver worked.
2nd day and thereafter it will not start. What should I look for?

Rightclick center of screen>Properties>Screensaver tab>Preview
Does it work? If not, it is not properly installed. If it does, click
the Settings button to properly set and save the settings.

I had already done those things. Works in "Preview", doesn't come on after
clicking Apply, the OK. Do you know if Norton Anti Virus Auto Protect is an
issue?
